Meet Chelsea
I was led to this work through healing my own trauma, my innate curiosity, and my passion to support others.
In fourth grade we were assigned to do a book report of our choosing. All of the other children chose fictional books, while I chose a book titled, About the Brain. From a young age I was fascinated by people- the neuroscience, the biology, the sociology, and the psychology. I continued reading as much as I could on these subjects into high school and college, which led me to earning a bachelors degree in Anthropology.
After college, I traveled the world and worked in a variety of fields including healthcare, sales, and hospitality before coming back to my true calling in healing work. During this time of searching I battled depression, anxiety, codependency, abusive relationships, binge eating, and substance abuse. I was lost. It felt like I tried everything. It felt like I was alone. I do this work now because I feel that no one should ever have to feel alone. I am passionate about providing support and safe care to those in need. The path to healing doesn’t have to be defined by grit and struggle, but rather can be one of compassion and support.
The tools, modalities, and approach I take to healing are utilized because I know through study, observation, and first hand experience that they work. I have collected a variety of methods in knowing that everyone’s path is different. I offer deep and personalized healing for those looking for support on their journey.
Having recently moved from Colorado to northeast Ohio, I now live and work on the ancestral land of the Erie, Kaskskia, and Mississippiauga people. I love to adventure outdoors, connect with nature, and spend time with my family. My interests are vast and varied. I am continuously learning, growing, evolving, and aim to do all things from a place of love. I enjoy meeting new people, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you want to connect and get to know each other.
My pronouns are she/her.

Why Chelsea Bennett Healing?
What is healing?
“Every human being has a true genuine authentic self and the trauma is the disconnection from it and the healing is the reconnection with it.”
-Gabor Mate
In this context, we can define healing as the a return to our whole, authentic, connected, and healthy selves. Throughout life we face certain experiences or traumas that have lasting imprints on our subconscious and nervous system. Healing is a process in peeling back this conditioning that no longer serves us in order to return home to ourselves. This process is not dismissive of our experiences and our story, but rather works along side it to heal. As we continue to live our lives, face challenges, and continue to grow, we are continuously coming back to the healing process, back to ourselves and back to a felt sense of safety and connection. However, it’s important to note that in the healing we are also living and that we are already healed, whole, and beautiful. We do the healing work for ourselves and for others.
So, why Chelsea Bennett Healing? Well, I am more than a somatic trauma informed life coach, more than a breathwork guide, Reiki practitioner, or Yoga instructor. These are all tools that facilitate healing, but I am not a healer. I cannot heal you, nor will I ever claim that I heal others. I simply hold space for healing to take place.
So, welcome to a space for healing. All are welcome here. Welcome to a space to show up exactly as you are in this moment. A space where you won’t be met with judgment or shame, but with compassion, love, support, honesty, and empathy. You are not alone here. My heart and ears are open to listen. I am here to support you in whatever way I can in your healing.
